One of the few things I actually adored in this episode is that they kept this line and that they made sure the contrast to Melisandre was obvious when they had her say pretty much right after, “a man is either good or evil.” You can’t make it much more obvious that Stannis and Melisandre have extremely different worldviews.
This part really was awesome. This whole scene was done really well actually.
